Marie has spent more than 20 years working in film and television production, most recently as an Associate Producer on Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias and previously as the coordinator of Peter Jackson’s motion capture studio in New Zealand. Her background is primarily operational, supporting complex creative projects behind the scenes.

She is establishing herself as a community-focused multimedia journalist devoted to documenting local narratives and the initiatives that shape Victoria, BC.

Her project Making Victoria unearths stories of transformation, resilience, creativity, and social enterprise that strengthen in-person connection and inspire meaningful participation across the city.
